CMS students win Overall Championship Trophy at Quality Youth Initiative Summit in Mauritius


 

Lucknow, 12 September : The 18-member delegation of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road campus has returned after participating in the ‘9th Quality Youth Initiative Summit’ held in Mauritius. The CMS delegation won ten awards in various competitions including the overall championship trophy in the summit, bringing laurels to the country. The members of the delegation were accorded a warm welcome by parents and teachers of the institution upon their return. This information was given by Shri Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, CMS. Shri Sharma informed that the CMS student delegation also met the Vice President of Mauritius, Mr Eddy Boissézon, who invited them over tea. They extended an invitation to Mr Eddy Boissézon to participate in the upcoming ‘International Conference of Chief Justices of the World’ to be organized by CMS in Lucknow. Mr Boissézon assured the students of his participation.

            Shri Sharma informed that CMS students showcased their excellent knowledge and creativity in the various competitions organized during the Summit and brought laurels to the country. In this Quality Summit, students of CMS Kanpur Road campus were conferred the Deming Award for winning the first prize in Mathematics competition, second prize in case study presentation, third prize in poster and slogan competition, second runner up in public speaking competition, best speaker in debate competition and the winners trophy in paper presentation. The CMS Kanpur Road campus delegation also won the overall championship trophy and the best creative team award.

            Shri Sharma informed that the students of CMS Kanpur Road campus who participated in the Quality Youth Initiative Summit are Anamika Yadav, Ananya Yadav, Geetanshi Singh, Samridhi Sonkar, Aakriti Singh, Shivang Gupta, Shiv Sarvashtra Singh, Sanskar Suman, Amrit Singh Sayan, Ahana Mehra, Aditya Rawat, Dhanya Verma, Rani Priyanshi, Esha Singh and Anika Pathak was present. The student team was led by school teacher Ms. Shikha Bhatnagar while Ms. Savita Mal and Jasneet Kaur were the deputy team leaders.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
