CMS student awarded Rs 20,000 scholarship for notable contribution to drug de-addiction campaign


 

Lucknow, July 13 : Ashish Sharma, a student of class 8 of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I has been awarded a certificate of appreciation by Shri Kaushal Kishore, Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India for his notable contribution to the drug de-addiction campaign. Along with this, Success Mantra, an educational Institute has also awarded a scholarship of Rs 20,000 to Ashish for his valuable contribution in the social sector. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi has congratulated this outstanding student for his social work and wished him success in all his future endeavours. This information was given by Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. Shri Sharma informed that Ashish showed immense enthusiasm through his participation in 'Abhiyan Kaushal Ka', a movement for a drug-free society and gave the message to the public to stay away from any kind of intoxicants, as well as spread awareness about the ill-effects of drug addiction. In an examination conducted under this campaign, Ashish stressed that the habit of drugs causes harm at the individual level as well as at the social and national level.

            Shri Sharma informed that CMS always encourages its students, through various creative activities. The institution’s mission is to provide education that prepares children to be world leaders, so that they can lead the global society of tomorrow with their developed humanitarian perspective. As a result of this unique education system, the students of the school are bringing glory to the school by winning prizes in national and international level competitions.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
