Lucknow Mayor, Ms Sanyukta Bhatia felicitates mothers of seven CMS meritorious students selected in the IAS Exam this year


 

Lucknow, 30 June :  A grand Teachers' Welcome Function was held at City Montessori School Gomti Nagar Extension auditorium here today to welcome and honour the old and new teachers of the school. On the auspicious occasion of 'Vidya Ka Parv" (Festival of Education), the school also honoured its worthy students. Chief Guest of the function, Ms Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor of Lucknow, felicitated the mothers of 7 brilliant students of CMS who have successfully cleared the IAS exam this year by weighing them in fruits and flowers. These students are Yasharth Shekhar, Kritika Shukla, Tarun Kumar Shukla, Anuja Trivedi, Tushar Anand, Ayush Kumar Sheohare and Sparsh Verma.  

            Earlier, the Chief Guest, Mayor of Lucknow, Ms Sanyukta Bhatia inaugurated the 'Teacher-Student Welcome Ceremony' by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing  the august gathering on this occasion, Ms Bhatia said that students are benefitting greatly and developing all-round personalities due to the holistic education being imparted to them by these outstanding CMS teachers. She said that this year CMS has given seven  students to serve the country as IAS officers and earned a place of pride in the hearts of people bringing Lucknow on the World Map.          CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi while expressing heartfelt  gratitude towards CMS teachers, said that it was due to their hard work and consistent efforts that the institution had grown to such mammoth proportions and reached such great heights of fame and accomplishment. The journey of success does not end here as we still have miles to go and much more remains to be one, he said. CMS Founder-Director, Dr (Mrs.) Bharti Gandhi; CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and CMS Chief Executive Officer, Mr Roshan Gandhi also expressed their views on this occasion. CMS Superior Principal and Head of CMS Quality Assurance and Innovation Dept., Ms Susmita Ghose presented Vote of Thanks to one and all.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
