Grand celebration of Yoga day in all CMS campuses CMS students give a strong message of good health through yoga

Lucknow, June 21 : All campuses of City Montessori School observed the International Day of Yoga with students performing yogic exercises in grand celebrations. The main event was held at CMS Rajajipuram Campus I. The occasion saw an enthusiastic participation of students, their parents and teachers, who took a pledge to cooperate unitedly in building a new healthy and prosperous society. The yoga enthusiasts performed yogic postures like Virabhadrasana, Chakra Bandhasana, Vibhakt Paschimottasana, Poorna Supta Vajrasana, Padma Sarvangasana, Poorna Bhujangasana, Garunasana, Parsvkosana, Bakasana, Poorna Supta Vajrasana, One foot Chakrasana, Yoga Nidrasana, Matyasana and Purna Dhanurasana etc. in sync with one another. CMS Founder and eminent educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi was also present on the occasion.

            In his address on the occasion, Dr. Gandhi said that the purpose of this yoga celebration is to make people aware of the importance of yoga and to make them conscious of mental and physical health. Looking at the present lifestyle, it is our responsibility to motivate the future generation for sports, yogic activities and physical exercises so that the establishment of a healthy and prosperous society can be possible.

            Similarly, CMS Gomti Nagar and other CMS campuses also celebrated Yoga day with great fanfare today. On this occasion, prominent citizens of the society also practiced yoga with the students and teachers and spread the message of good health through yoga.

Grand Opening of the International Sports, Arts, and Music Competition ‘SAM-2024’

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
