Dr Jagdish Gandhi releases the book written by CMS student


 

Lucknow, May 14 : In a ceremony held today at the newly constructed headquarters of City Montessori School, founder of City Montessori School and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi released the books, ‘Seep ke Moti’ and ‘The Unsung Verses’ written by Sulakshana Mishra, a former student of City Montessori School. These books are collections of poetry in Hindi and English respectively. On this occasion, several noted individuals including CMS alumnus and PCS officer, Mr Divyanshu Pandey were present. Dr. Gandhi, while congratulating Sulakshana, said that books written by this CMS student will inspire the younger generation to move forward in life. This information was given by Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma.

            Shri Sharma informed Ms Sulakshana Mishra was a student of CMS Gomti Nagar campus I and passed her class XII (ISC) examinations with a high percentage of marks. Despite being a student of Science, she has a keen interest in literature and writes poetry and stories fluently in both Hindi and English languages. In a conversation after the book launch ceremony, Ms Sulakshana said that Ms Manjit Batra, the Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar campus is my role model, who always motivated me to fulfil my dreams. In her message to the current crop of students, she advised them to focus on time management. . Ms Sulakshana is currently working as a manager in the local head office of State Bank of India.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music. Mr Sharma further said that such celebrations are extremely beneficial for students as they encourage young talent to come forward and make their mark at the national and international level and CMS is constantly encouraging its students to participate in competitions of music, dance and sports leading to their all-round personality development.
