Dr Jagdish Gandhi honoured with Shiksha Gaurav Samman


 

Lucknow, April 23 : Founder of City Montessori School and eminent educationist,
Dr Jagdish Gandhi was honoured and awarded with the ‘Shiksha Gaurav Samman’ today for his unparalleled contribution in the field of education. In a glittering event organized under the joint aegis of Inspire India Foundation and Career Pathways at Hotel Fairfield Marriott, the Principal Director of Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences and Director of Centre of Victimology, Prof. (Dr) Sanjeev P. Sahni presented Dr Gandhi with a citation and a stole. A large number of intelligentsia of the city including renowned personalities from the field of education, journalism, literature and administration were present on this occasion.

            On the occasion, the Principal Director of Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences and Director of Centre of Victimology, Prof. (Dr) Sanjeev P. Sahni said that under the leadership of Dr. Gandhi, the respect that CMS has earned on the world stage is a matter of pride not only for Lucknow but for the entire country. Dr. Gandhi is an invaluable asset of the country. Expressing happiness on being conferred 'Shiksha Gaurav Samman’, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that all the credit for this honor goes to teachers of CMS, due to whose tireless hard work and dedication, CMS has set many records in the educational field. Managing Director of Career Pathways, Dr Abhijeet Banerjee also expressed his views on the occasion.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that it is the result of Dr Gandhi’s hard work, dedication and guidance that City Montessori School which started with just 5 children today is imparting quality education to more than 58,000 students. Dr Gandhi has been conferred six honorary doctorates, along with several prestigious national and international awards and honours for his remarkable contribution in the field of education and social service, including Derozio Award, U.P. Ratna Award, Friend of Young Physicist Award, Peace Representative Award, Waris Ali Shah Award, Quality Pioneer Award and Shiksha Gaurav Samman etc.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
