CMS students give wonderful display of multisided talents at Open Day Celebrations


 

Lucknow, 13 March : Studentss of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus showcased their mutli-sided talents at the Open Day Celebrations of their campus with great joy and enthusiasm. On this occasion, they presented the CMS mission 'Every child is potentially the light of the world' through their wonderful programme. While on one side, the small children participated in educational and sports contests, on the other hand, parents got an opportunity to take a closer look at the educational methodology of CMS.

            Parents and guardians were thrilled to watch the montessori method of teaching in which children learn through role play and story telling. Human values are imparted with the help of music, dance and story enactment. Classroom activities left the viewers amazed and joyful. It revealed the high level of knowledge and eloquence of the children. Parents were amazed to witness the fluency in English attained by their wards.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi while addressing the parents on this occasion, said that if we instil virtues like compassion, kindness, love and unity in children at an early age, they will become healthy and spiritually strong in life. So the root has to be strengthened in childhood for a perfect life in future. He congratulated the Principal for the wonderful programme. Mrs. Aditi Sharma, Principal of CMS Chowk Campus thanked the parents and said that the school is committed to bringing about the holistic development of children by ensuring their physical, mental and spiritual development.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
