CMS Kanpur Road Campus organizes Divine Education Conference


 

Lucknow, March 28 : City Montessori School, Kanpur Road campus organized the Divine Education Conference today at its auditorium. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering of parents on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the foundation of a good society is laid in the school itself. As is the atmosphere in school, so is the mind of the student. The responsibility of making the child a light of the world lies on the home, school and society but it is the school which exerts maximum influence on the child's mind. CMS students are schooled in thoughts of peace, unity and harmony so that they grow up to understand that God is One, Religion is One and Humanity is One.

            Earlier, the students of CMS Kanpur Road Campus displayed their talents before their parents at the Divine Education Conference held held here today. While on the one hand, CMS Kanpur Road auditorium glittered with the divine unity as the students presented School Prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer, on the other hand, unique presentation of World Parliament attracted the attention of audience. At this World Parliament, students presented peaceful solutions of various global problems. Besides, the students presented several educational-cultural items keeping the audience enthralled. Songs and dances, qawwali, skits and many more presentations won the hearts of parents and the auditiorium resounded with applause from the parents. Through these cultural items, students propagated the CMS philosophy of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam, the four pillars of education - knowledge, wisdom, spiritual perception and eloquent speech besides the values of universality, excellence in education, global thinking and service to the world. The students who had given brilliant performances in academics, co-curricular activities and sports throughout the year were  rewarded with certificates and trophies.

            Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran said on this occasion that the whole society including parents, grand parents and neighbours, must play the role of character builders and pledge for developing the mental capability of children. Such a united family and amicable society should offer a healthy atmosphere for the character building of children.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

Lucknow, March 6:  A grand online event 'Civil Service Conclave' was organized today under the aegis of International Relations Department of City Montessori School. 3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
