CMS student wins first prize in Yoga Competition


 

Lucknow, 26 February : Sheikh Mohammad Lubaba, a student of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus brought laurels to the city by winning the inter-school Yoga Competition. This yoga competition was organized under the aegis of Ayush department of the UP Government wherein this CMS student was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 2,100/- and a certificate for his outstanding performance. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, while congratulating this outstanding student, advised other students to do Yoga as well. CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that students of various reputed schools of the state participated in this competition and demonstrated their yoga skills, however, in the midst of a tough competition, this CMS student earned first prize by skillfully performing various yogasanas, showcasing his physical abilities.

               Shri Sharma further said that CMS always motivates its students to pursue their passion in their areas of interest. It is for this reason that CMS students are excelling in various other areas apart from academics and bringing laurels to the institution. CMS believes that Yoga is a part of our great cultural heritage and in view of our present lifestyle, it is the utmost responsibility of all of us to make the future generations aware of yogic activities for building a healthy and prosperous society.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum. New State-of-the-Art Robotics Lab inaugurated at CMS

Lucknow, 16 October : A new State-of-the Art Robotics Lab has been set up at City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus. CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon inaugurated this newly created robotics lab this morning at CMS Mahanagar Campus in an enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere.
