Lucknow, February 4 :
Adarsh Dubey, a student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I secured
admission in the prestigious The Wooster College, Ohio, the USA for higher
education with a US $1,36,000 scholarship. He will receive this scholarship for
a four-year undergraduate course. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated
Adarsh on his extraordinary achievement and wished him success in his future
endeavours.
Adarsh
has credited his teachers and the educational environment in school for his
success. “I was ably guided by my school’s teachers and career counsellor
because of which I was able to choose the right place for my further
studies".
CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om
Sharma informed that each year, almost 100 CMS students are offered
admission in top universities of the world. This year, till now, over 35 CMS
students have secured admissions with handsome scholarships in some of the best
universities of the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany like
Cambridge University, California Institute of Technology (CalTech),
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Cornell
University, Melbourne University, National University of Singapore etc. He
expressed confidence that like the previous years, this year too CMS students
will make the city proud with record selections with handsome scholarships in
the top-ranked universities of the world.
Mr Sharma informed that CMS is the only SAT and Advanced
Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of UP
and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best
universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who
wished to study abroad had to travel to Delhi to take SAT exam.
