CMS bags a maximum of 12 prizes in Republic Day Parade CMS Tableau wins the first prize


 

Lucknow, January 27 : The CMS tableau on the subject, ‘‘Blessed is the spot where prayers in praise of God are offered’ has won the first prize in this year’s Republic Day parade. Apart from this, CMS students showcased their all-round talent by winning 11 prizes in different presentations in the Republic Day parade. Students of CMS Kanpur Road won the first prize in the drill, ‘India’s vaccination’, while students of CMS Anand Nagar campus secured the second position in the drill, ‘Sabko Avsar, Sabko Unnati’. CMS Aliganj Campus I students stood first in the March Past while CMS Gomti Nagar Extension campus won the first prize in girls’ March Past. CMS RDSO campus secured the first position in the girls’ Flag March while CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I won third prize in boys’ Flag March. CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I and Rajajipuram Campus I, both won the first prize while Mahanagar Campus won the third prize in Dance presentations. CMS Kanpur Road campus students won first and third prize in Pipe Band and Brass Band march respectively.

              CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that the first prize winning CMS Tableau at this year’s Republic Day parade gave the message of religious unity and love for humanity by showcasing the figures of Sant Vinoba Bhave, Swami Vivekanand, Sant Surdas, Swami Ramteerth, Mother Teresa, Sant Kabir and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. On the other hand, the tableau also propagated the message of Unity, Peace, and Harmony for the welfare of humanity in accordance with the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ and ‘Article 51 of the Constitution of India.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
