International Science Olympiad, Quanta 2021 concludes with the resolution will use Science in the interest of humanity


 

Lucknow, December 12 : The three-day International Science Olympiad, ‘Quanta 2021’ organised by City Montessori School, Chowk Campus concluded here today. The prize distribution and closing ceremony held today evening saw a magnificent presentation of colourful educational-cultural items by CMS students. The winners of different competitions held during the event were awarded in an online presentation. Student delegations from Brazil, Russia, Finland, Jordan, Bangladesh and India participated in several interesting competitions like Maths and Mental Ability quiz, Science and Computer quiz, Drawing competition, Speech competition etc and showcased their knowledge of science and technology in the three-day International Quanta 2021 organised from 10th to 12th December, 2021. They also showed the various advancements in the field of science and technology and the future of world-society before the audience.

            Nikhil Sharma of CMS Kanpur Road Campus won the first prize in Science and Computer Quiz while Ronit Gupta of CMS Kanpur Road Campus won the first prize in Maths and Mental Ability Quiz. Paridhi Gautam of Sir Padampat Singhania School, Kota won the first prize in Art Competition.

            CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated all the participants from India and abroad for their magnificent performance in various competitions and said that the time has come when the entire student community must come together and unite the world as the establishment of an ideal society is the responsibility of the future generation. CMS Founder Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi and President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also expressed their views on the occasion. Convenor of International Quanta-2021 and Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs Aditi Sharma, while expressing her gratitude towards all the participants and teachers, said that it is a wonderful feeling to see the participants showcase their scientific and technological prowess. She expressed belief that the seeds of global perspective which have been sown in these students will certainly motivate them to create a new society.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
