Grand inauguration of Inter-School Taekwondo Championship being organized by CMS


 Lucknow, December 22 : A two-day inter-school Taekwondo Championship, being organized by City Montessori School, Station Road Campus was inaugurated here at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest on the occasion, Dr Syed Rafat Zubair Rizvi, General Secretary, Hammadon Kumdo Association of India inaugurated the championship by lighting the lamp. Addressing the participants on the occasion, Dr Rizvi said that such events not only bring out the sporting talents in children but also infuse new energy and enthusiasm in them. These child participants of today will bring glory to the country in Taekwondo one day. Dr Rizvi congratulated CMS for organizing this inter-school championship. Earlier, the inauguration ceremony began with school prayer and all-religion prayer.

            Speaking on the occasion, CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that it is important to provide an inspiring environment to the children and applaud even their small achievements for the development of talents in them. CMS gives equal importance to sports and education. Convenor of the Championship and Principal of CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs Deepali Gautam earlier welcomed all the participants, their teachers, and other eminent guests.


            CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that on the first day of the championship, matches of boys and girls in the sub-junior category were held after the opening ceremony.  Preliminary rounds, semi-finals, and final matches were played in the boys under-18 weight category to under-41 weight category and in girls from under-16 weight category to under-38 weight category. All the matches were conducted on a knock-out basis as per the rules and regulations of ‘World Taekwondo’.

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
