Deputy CM, Dr Dinesh Sharma and Minister for Law & Justice Mr Brijesh Pathak support the call for a global governance


 Lucknow, November 21: At the '22nd International Conference of Chief Justices of the World' organized online by City Montessori School, Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Dr Dinesh Sharma; Minister for Law and Justice, Mr Brijesh Pathak and Deputy Speaker of UP Legislative Assembly, Mr Nitin Agarwal called upon all the Heads of States and Heads of Governments to make provisions in their respective countries to sow the seeds of world unity and world peace in children right from their formative years. Mr Cassam Uteem, Former President of Mauritius; Mr Jean Henry Ceant, Former Prime Minister of Haiti and jurists and legal luminaries from 50 countries participating in the conference too advocated the need to impart the education of world unity  and world peace to the young children from the very beginning. On this occasion, 'Mahatma Gandhi Award' was presented to Hon'ble Mr Justice Richard Goldstone, Former Judge, Constitutional Court, South Africa and 'Mother Teresa Award' was presented to Hon'ble Mr Justice Mark Lawrence Wolf, Senior Judge of USA in a virtual presentation ceremony.

            Addressing the conference today, Chief Guest, Dr Dinesh Sharma said that the unique campaign CMS is running through this conference for safeguarding the future of world's children deserves great praise. Minister for Law and Justice, Mr Brijesh Pathak said that our real strength lies in the idea of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam'.

            Putting forth his views at the conference today in the plenary session, Hon'ble Mr Justice Myo Tint, Judge, Supreme Court, Myanmar said that the pandemic has made people of the world know that we depend upon each other for our economic as well as social well being. Hon'ble Justice Prapot Klaisuban, President, Phetchaburi Administrative Court, Thailand said that the government and NGOs are working hand-in-hand in Thailand to be able to address various ecological problems. He said that we are all co-habitants of this planet and the onus of tackling various problems lies upon us all. Hon'ble Ms Justice Ganna Vronska, Judge, Supreme Court, Ukraine; Hon'ble Mr Justice Aladdin Jafarov, Judge, Azerbaijan; Hon'ble Mr Justice Mag. Damijan Florjaneie, President, Supreme Court, Slovenia; Hon'ble Ms Justice Rosa Maria Acon Ng, Judge, Supreme Court, Costa Rica; Hon'ble Justice Dr Josefa V Izaga Pellegrin, Judge, Superior Court of Lima, Peru; Hon'ble Ms Masami Saionji, Chairperson, Byakko Shinko Kai, Japan also put up their views at the conference in support of the formation of a global governance system.

   CMS President and Managing Director, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon informed that the proceedings of the 4th and final day of the conference tomorrow will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Mr Kesav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister, UP and Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University will also be there to enrich the conference with his views. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that a press conference has been organized tomorrow on 22nd November at 1.15 pm to release the outcome of the four days of intense deliberations and discussion held at the International Chief Justices Conference in the form of 'Lucknow Declaration'. CMS Founder, convenor of the conference and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi will release this important document on this occasion

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
