CMS donates Rs 1 Lakh for animal welfare


 Lucknow, November 27: The Founder Director of City Montessori School and renowned educationist, Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi has donated Rs 1 Lakh for welfare of animals. She presented a cheque for Rs 1 Lakh to Shri Kamal Sharma, President, Animal Ashram. The funds donated by CMS to Animal Ashram will be spent on the care and treatment of injured and sick animals.

            CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that in previous years too, CMS has been donating funds for various social works and protection of animals from time to time. Shri Sharma further informed that while the school is considered to be the best in the field of education across the whole country, it is also fulfulling its social responsibility by playing a leading role in social work as it believes that social service is also an integral part of imparting education. It is for this reason that CMS encourages its students to actively contribute in environment protection, wildlife conservation, water conservation, energy conservation and social awareness so that the students may grow up and play a constructive role in the society

Lucknow, 16 October : A new State-of-the Art Robotics Lab has been set up at City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus. CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
