BCM Arya School, Ludhiana wins Overall Championship


 Lucknow, November 28: The three-day International Cosplay Competition, ‘Fantasm 2021’ organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I came to a close here today. The winners of various competitions were announced this evening in a scintillating educational-cultural closing ceremony. Student team of BCM Arya School, Ludhiana, Punjab proved their supremacy by winning the Overall Championship of Fantasm-2021, while Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur was the runner-up. The objective of ‘Fantasm 2021’ was to provide an international platform to the students of pre-primary, primary and junior classes where they can display their knowledge, skills and talents in an environment of healthy competition. Student participants from schools of Australia, USA, Russia, Nepal, UAE and India participated and competed in various competitions in this three-day event.

            Among the winners announced today, CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I won the first prize in La Imaginacion (Poster Making) competition while BCM Arya School, Ludhiana and CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I were declared the joint winners in the Super Actores (Role Play) competition. First prize of Cuentista (Story telling – extempore) went to City International School while BCM Arya School, Ludhiana won the first prize in Tema Musical (Poem recitation) competition. Again, BCM Arya School, Ludhiana won the La Sucesion (Speech contest) competition and the first prize for La Novella (Theatre) competition was awarded to Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur

            Addressing the participants in the closing and prize distribution ceremony of Fantasm 2021, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the process of showcasing the skills and talents of the students which has started with this event should not stop now. He expressed satisfaction that this event has proved to be extremely beneficial in the overall development of students. CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also expressed her thoughts and congratulated the participants saying that she is amazed to see such tremendous talent in these young children.

            Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, their teachers and other invitees, Convenor of ‘Fantasm 2021’ and Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jayshree Krishnan said that the manner in which the creative talent of all the participants students has come to the fore in this event is unmatched in itself. These children will go on to work for the welfare of humanity in future.

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
