Dy Chief Minister, Dr Dinesh Sharma inaugurates International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics


 Lucknow, October 28 : Dr Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh inaugurated the three-day International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics (IYCCE 2021) being organized online by City Montessori School, Station Road Campus here today. Student delegations from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Australia, Mauritius, Bangladesh and different parts of India are participating in this online event. The inaugural ceremony saw scintillating educational-cultural presentations by CMS students in honour of participating students, their teachers and eminent guests, which mesmerized the audience. During the course of three days of this international convention, interesting competitions like B-Plan (Creative Business Plan), Big Fight (Speech), Fintoons (Financial Cartoon), Sound of Silence (Choreography), Entrepreneur Expressions (speech) and Ad-guru (advertisement) etc will be held online which will prove to be helpful in developing leadership and management ability in the participating students besides providing them with new ideas and knowledge.

        Addressing the audience on the occasion, the Chief Guest, Dr Dinesh Sharma applauded the initiative to organize this unique event and said that while this convention will provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their talents at the international level, it will also inculcate the spirit of equality and harmony in them. Dr. Sharma further said that economic equality is very important for establishing social equality and harmony in the society, which is why this conference of commerce and economics is extremely relevant in today’s time. Earlier, the IYCCE was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and recitation of Vande Matram and school prayer. Students of CMS Station Road Campus presented educational-cultural programs like World Parliament, World Unity Prayer, All Religion Prayer, Prayer Dance, Group song etc. which enthralled the audience.

        In his address, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that this international convention will not only provide in-depth knowledge of various aspects of commerce and economics but will also inspire the participants to work for world unity and world peace. CMS President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed confidence that this conference will help the future generation to understand the economic, social, educational and political scenario arising in the context of the new global economics of the 21st century. CMS Founder Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi and CEO, Mr Roshan Gandhi also expressed their thoughts on this occasion. Earlier, Convenor of IYCCE 2021 and Principal, CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs Deepali Gautam, while welcoming the participants, expressed her belief that this convention will usher a new era of unity and friendship for the future generations.

Apart from the above competitions, guest speaker, Ms Kavita Pathak, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management will also guide the participating students about the intricacies of management in her lecture.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
