Dr Jagdish Gandhi felicitated

Lucknow, October 17 : Renowned educationist and Founder of City Montessori School, Dr Jagdish Gandhi was felicitated here today for his unparalleled contribution in the field of education and for bringing fame to the city at the international level. Dr Mahendra Singh, Minister for Jal Shakti, Government of Uttar Pradesh was the Chief Guest while Dr Vikram Singh, former DGP UP and Chancellor, Noida International University was the Guest of Honour at the honouring ceremony organised by the Uttar Pradesh wing of Media Federation of India at Hotel Taj. The event was organised to celebrate the achievement of Dr Jagdish Gandhi who has recently been conferred an Honorary Doctorate by Ms Hillary Clinton, Vice Chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast.  A short film showcasing the achievements of City Montessori School in the past 62 years was shown on this occasion.


        Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mahendra Singh, Cabinet Minister, UP Govt said that under Dr. Gandhi’s leadership, CMS has put Lucknow on the world map in the field of education. It is a matter of pride for the people of Lucknow that Dr. Gandhi has been honored with honorary doctorate by Ms Hillary Clinton, former US Secretary of State and Chancellor of Queen's University. Dr. Vikram Singh, former DGP, U.P. said that the world-wide recognitions that have been accorded to CMS under the leadership of Dr. Gandhi are unparalleled. On this occasion, Shri Arun Sharma, National President of Media Federation of India and CMS President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also expressed their views.

            Expressing his gratitude, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that it is only because of the unrelenting efforts, dedication and unmatched achievements of CMS students and teachers that CMS is known for its quality education all over the world.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
