3-day International Convention on Commerce and Economics (IYCCE-2021) concludes with Prize Distribution


 

Lucknow, October 30 : The three-day International Convention on Commerce and Economics, IYCCE-2021 being organized by City Montessori School, Station Road Campus came to a close today. In a grand prize distribution ceremony held this evening, the winning participants from India and abroad were awarded prizes amidst scintillating educational-cultural presentations. During the course of three days, budding economists from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Australia, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India showcased their expression ability, knowledge of commerce and creative thinking skills through a variety of interesting competitions and highlighted their leadership and management capabilities.

            Participating team from School of International Studies in Science and Arts, Lahore, Pakistan bagged the first prize in the junior category of Sound of Silence (Choreography) competition while La Martiniere College, Lucknow won the first prize in Ad-Guru (Advertisement) competition. Varnit Pandey and Ronit Singh of La Martiniere College won the first prize in B-Plan (Creative business plan) while S.M. Ayar Rizvi got the first prize in Big Fight (Speech) competition, Ananya Pandey of Aditya Birla Public School, Jagdishpur won the first prize in Fintoons (Financial Cartoon) competition and Manyata Chaturvedi of CMS Gomtinagar Extension campus bagged the first prize in Entrepreneur Expressions (Declamation) contest.

            Addressing the participants on the occasion, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed confidence that this international convention has certainly succeeded in motivating the students to serve the global society as world citizens. Convenor of IYCCE-2021 and Principal, CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs Deepali Gautam expressed gratitude towards all the participants and their teachers and said that it is our responsibility to sow such seeds through education which germinate to form a new society based on economic equality and bring about unity and peace.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
