Labour Minister, Shri Swami Prasad Maurya inaugurates International History Festival The Relic

Lucknow, September 15 : The three-day International History Festival, ‘The Relic International 2021’ being organized by City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I was inaugurated online today by Shri Swami Prasad Maurya, Minister of Labour and Employment, Government of Uttar Pradesh who was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Student teams from the USA, England, UAE, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Russia, Nepal, Vietnam, Peru, Ukraine, Belgium, Sri Lanka, Germany, Mauritius, Algeria and different parts of India are participating in this international event. The inauguration of the event saw scintillating educational-cultural performances put up by CMS students which mesmerized everyone in the audience. In the course of next three days, the participating students will compete in several interesting competitions like Debate, Creative Writing, Film Making, Poetry, Drawing and Photography and learn about different cultures and civilizations, fostering appreciation, unity and brotherhood among themselves.

        Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest of the event, Shri Swami Prasad Maurya said that this International event is extremely relevant as making the younger generation aware of past events and motivating them to learn from them is the need of the hour. Children of this digital age are extremely brilliant but it is upto us to inculcate good values in them so that they actively contribute in promoting unity, peace and harmony in the world.““ Presentation of educational-cultural performances like School Prayer, World Parliament, Group Song, Choreography, World Unity Prayer, All-Religion Prayer, Prayer dance by the students mesmerised everyone in the audience.

            Addressing the participating students from India and Abroad, CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that there is no other alternative to world unity and world peace for sustainable development of humanity and global society. I am sure that this International Festival will promote unity and peace among the participating students. She further stated that it is a matter of pride for us that the History Club, ‘Antiquity’ of CMS Aliganj Campus I is organising this international event and the students are organising various competitions independently without any assistance of their teachers. Earlier, Convenor of ‘The Relic International 2021’ and Senior Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus I, Mrs Jyoti Kashyap said that it is upto the coming generations to bring about a new just and democratic world order based on spiritual principles. Co-convenor of 'The Relic' and Principal, Mrs Shivani Singh accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and the participating students and their teachers.

            Under this International Festival, Debate competition will be held tomorrow, on 16th September from 10.30 am, Poetry competition at 12.30 pm, Film Making Competition at 2.30 pm and Photography competition will be held online at 5.00 pm. All the competitions under ‘The Relic International’ will be held online on Zoom platform and the Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony will be held on 17th September from 2.00 pm onwards.“

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
