CMS student in Feminas Fab 40 list

Lucknow, September 21 : Poulomi Pavini Shukla, an alumna of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I has brought laurels to the city by being featured in the Femina’s ‘Fab 40 of 2021’  list which has been published in the September edition of the magazine. The list includes stalwarts of India from different fields like Olympians Mirabai Chanu and PV Sindhu, famed actor, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt, Who’s Who of the society like Kusha Kapila, Meenakshi Lekhi, Nita Ambani, Mahua Moitra, Barkha Dutt, Rana Ayyub, Masaba Gupta, Bhumi Pednekar etc.,  women judges of the Supreme Court and women scientiests behind Mangalyan.

            Poulomi Pavini Shukla has been a very talented student of CMS Gomti Nagar Camps I who completed her class XII in the year 2008-09 with 94.25% marks. Besides academics, she has always been a pioneer in the social awareness programme of the school. She was also the Head girl of the school. After completing school, she went on doing unparalleled work for poor and orphaned children and established her reputation as one of the most prominent volunteer social workers. Poulomi is a Supreme Court Lawyer and is constantly trying to provide education and rights to orphans. She has been successful in making many states take steps for the betterment of orphan children. In 2015 she has also written a book 'Weakest on Earth - Orphans of India' on the plight of the orphans. Poulomi is daughter of senior IAS officers, Pradeep Shukla and Aradhana Shukla.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that Poulomi featuring in the Femina’s 'Fab 40 of 2021 list’ is a moment of pride for the entire CMS family. She has been led by her passion for social work and commitment which found encouragement during her school days. He further said that the special emphasis on human education along with material education in CMS develops a concern among our students towards the affairs of the age and this motivates them to contribute actively in the upliftment of the society.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. A major highlight of the day was the final round of Number Ninja (Maths Games) contest. C

CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music. Mr Sharma further said that such celebrations are extremely beneficial for students as they encourage young talent to come forward and make their mark at the national and international level and CMS is constantly encouraging its students to participate in competitions of music, dance and sports leading to their all-round personality development.
