CMS student awarded National Winner title in Environment Olympiad

Lucknow, September 18 : Bhanu Prakash Verma, student of Class VIII at City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I earned the title of 'National Winner' in the prestigious environment based 'Saevus Eco Achievers Olympiad-2021', bringing pride to the city of Lucknow. Bhanu was presented a cash prize of Rs. 5000 along with a gold medal and citation for this achievement. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that a large number of students from various prestigious schools of the country had participated in the competition. Bhanu's selection as the national achiever at such an Olympiad demonstrates his awareness and commitment towards the environment. Through his performance in this Olympiad Bhanu has also given an excellence display of his knowledge of the various environmental issues and his concern for the issues like climate change, global warming, loss of biodiversity etc., besides at the same time underling the school's efforts in preparing the students in terms of environmental protection, wildlife conservation and conservation of natural resources. Bhanu was trained and guided by the Environment Coordinator of CMS Aliganj Campus I, Mr Kailash Kesarwani.

            Mr Sharma further informed that CMS is committed to make students conscious custodians of the environment imparting all necessary knowledge related to the environment. It is for this reason that besides excelling academically, CMS students have set a mark in social awareness.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
