CMS Student wins gold medal in International Maths Olympiad


Lucknow, August 26 : Satyarth Pandey, a student of Class X of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I brought laurels to the city by winning the gold medal in the individual category in Singapore International Maths Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC). A total of 1890 young Math wizards from 25 countries participated for Global recognition in this international event. The event was conducted in three rounds where Satyarth emerged victorious after the final round.Overjoyed on his success, Satyarth credited his teachers in CMS for this magnificent accomplishment. He said, “Upon seeing my interest in mathematics, my teachers motivated me to participate in international events and gave me extra math classes when I entered this event.”

            Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) is a unique concept of mathematics competition which not only tests the ability to solve mathematical problems on pen and paper but also tests ones ability to work as a team to play interactive mathematical games and solve puzzles. SIMOC gives young students an opportunity to compete with top mathematical talents from around the world and learn from each other as a team.Founder Manager of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Satyarth for his incredible achievement and said that CMS prepares its students to participate in various international competitions by giving them free of cost coaching in extra hours.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
